According to an article on Apple Insider, FOSS Patents reports that the judge for US District Court for the Northern District of California, Judge Lucy Koh accepted both (friends of the court) briefs from Verizon and T-Mobile on Friday.
The brief was accepted in full, into consideration regarding Apple’s proposed preliminary injunction seeking to ban on sales of certain Samsung Android handsets in US.
Apple has asked for some time to forward its response to the briefs by both the companies in attempt to convince the judge that the briefs will not be of any hep in the decision making process of the court. .
Samsung and Apple are next required to submit their final filings and a decision is expected to come out on October 13th.
