We know a large majority of early Internet and Email adopters are still on Hotmail. Microsoft today announced Android app for Hotmail service and the good news is that it’s now available for download in the android app store (link below). Hotmail is still world’s largest email provider and this app will enable android users access their Hotmail accounts via android powered phones and tablets. The app offers very standard email app features like calendar and contacts synchronization, push email, multiple accounts support etc.

In addition, users will be able to view their folders and sub-folders through the app. The app also supports sending pictures clicked with your phone and attachments. From the ratings that this app has received from users, it seems that users are liking it. It’s also being discussed on the Internet that iOS 5, Apple’s next OS update for idevices will offers Hotmail as one of the options.
