Muzee Cloudia: Android Powered Internet Media Device

The Muzee Cloudia is a portable media device with a 7 inch 800 x 480 pixel LCD display. It uses Google Android as the OS. The device can connect to the internet over a WiFi or Ethernet connection. Cloudia integrates 8 cloud multimedia services, including Internet TV, Internet radio, e-news, e-Books, digital alarm clock and digital photo frame.Seems like a perfect example of an Hybrid device.
The Muzee Cloudia cannot be called an Android tablet for the simple reason that, it doesn’t have a touchscreen. The user would be required to use a remote control to interact with the device and navigate Muzee’s software interface. The interface runs on top of Google Android 2.2 Froyo.
There are also channel and volume buttons on the side of the device, along with the usual Android home, back, and menu buttons. There are also some navigation buttons for up/down, left/right, and OK functions.
Speaking about hardware, the Cloudia features an 800 MHz processor,2GB of internal memory,500MB RAM, a 1500mAh battery, 10/100MB Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, a USB 2.0 port, stereo speakers, a headphone jack, and a power adapter. The Cloudia measures 8.3″ x 5.7″ x 1.3″ and weighs about 1.1 pounds.
There is no news as to when the device will be launched. However, when it arrives I am sure a lot of techies would love to get their hands on this hybrid device.
