Skoda Goes Green With Inception Of Electric Car


Skoda has begun with the production of their first fully electric car. Till now, it has been only seen in the concept form.
The Czech manufacturer will be going to produce 10 cars at the beginning to test the enhancement of the emissions-free technology. This will help Skoda to depict important analysis for the future applications of the average CO2 emissions reduction.
Dr Eckhard Scholz, Skoda’s board of member of technological development has expressed their opinion that producing efficient Electric cars is of our key goals so that use of petrol or diesel along with the point of view of remuneration and emission of noxious substances that damages our environment can be decrease.
The Octavia combi, the E line features:
  1. Lithium-ion battery of 26.5 KWh which is going to be placed under the floor.
  2. It has been provided with an electric motor with a constant output of 60KW.
  3. Its maximum power will be 85KW along with an avaibility of 270Nm torque.
  4. The Octavia reaches 0-100KMPH in 12 seconds while its top speed will lies in the range of 140Km.
There will be a sound generator in the model that will produce noise of a regular engine in order to warn street walkers.
The Czech automaker plans to produce cars in greater amount by next year after the successful testing.
